Safari Guide is an independent, ranger-authored editorial project dedicated to the conservation and appreciation of Udawalawe National Park, Sri Lanka. We arenot an official government booking portal, park ticket office, or Department of Wildlife Conservation website.

• Approximate park-area weather shown in the header and home info bar, sourced from a weather provider using a fixed Udawalawe location — not your personal location
• Indicative USD–LKR exchange rates used by the currency converter, sourced from a mid-market rate provider (not a bank or gate counter quote)

• Respond to enquiries, feedback, and complaints
• Improve visitor guidance, ethical safari information, and site content

Ticket prices, feeding times, entrance fees, and similar figures on Safari Guide are for guidance. Payments at park gates, transit home counters, or official channels are handled by the relevant authorities or operators — not by Safari Guide as a payment processor. Do not send card details or sensitive payment credentials through our contact forms.

7. Data retention

We keep form submissions and correspondence only as long as needed to respond, investigate concerns, meet legal obligations, or improve visitor standards. You may ask us to delete or correct personal information you have sent us, subject to any lawful retention needs (for example, ongoing complaint review).

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information submitted through the site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive data in open forms.
